I am a freelance writer and native Arkansan. I have lived in Miami or Miami Beach since 2002 and written for about every publication that existed or still does, including, but not limited to: Miami New Times, StreetMiami (part of the Miami Herald), the Miami SunPost, Closer Magazine, Miami Living Magazine, VIPGuide Miami, Biscayne Times, etc.

This site is dedicated to topical subjects ranging from the immigration issue going on in Arizona, the Gulf of Mexico oil spill, and even the 2010 World Cup. Other popular topics will be lauded or derided accordingly. And, that’s just the first wave of ideas. We strive to simply be tougher and report better than the average bear, or badger, as it were.
